Rev Isaac Mason was a retired priest who came to St Paul’s from Oklahoma. He and his wife, Grace, lived in the rectory from August 1979 to 1981 when he returned to Oklahoma. He flew his own airplane making it easier for him to travel in the area.
Originally from Streator, Illinois, he studied at Oklahoma City University and at Oklahoma State University. He served in the Methodist Church for a time before his ordination into the Episcopal Church in 1956. He also served in. Geneseo, Ill, Chickasha OK and Guthrie, Oklahoma. Fr Mason Returned to Oklahoma in 1981 where he served as a supply priest until his death April 11th 1989.
