The Total Eclipse of 2024 on April 8 of this year is a very rare experience and often comes just once in a lifetime. St. Paul’s will be in the Zone of Totality for this Eclipse, and we invite you to join us for a day of reflection and prayer, plus lunch and of course, observing the Eclipse itself.
The Day’s Activities (Tentative)
- 9 – 10.30 AM – Arrive any time, enjoy coffee and pastries
- 10.30 AM – Orientation and Morning Prayer
- 11.00 – First Reflection
- 11.20 – Quiet Time
- 12.00 PM – Check In, Midday Prayer
- 12.30 PM – Lunch
- 1.15 PM – Second Reflection
- 1.30 PM – Quiet Time
- 2.00 PM – Check in
- 2. 30 PM – Bus to viewing site
- 2.45 – 3.45 – View the Eclipse! (Totality is 3.12 – 3.16 PM)
- 3.45 PM – Bus to St. Paul’s
- 4.00 PM – Check in, Followed by Evening Prayer
